GP Social Development Learnerships 2015

Applications for grade 12 Learners to participate in Gauteng Province Social Development Learnership Programme.Department of Social Development offers exciting opportunities to suitable candidates who have passed grade 12 for potential placement in our Learnership Programme.

Successful cnadidates will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract for 2016 and would be placed across the Department and Indentified NGO’s and ECD centres.

Preference will be given to:
Youth with Disability
Foster Children
Orphans/Youth Related to Military Veterans
Child Support Recipients
Child Headed Families
Youth from 50 poorest wardsAdmittance Requirements

How to apply

Closing date is 30 September 2015. All applications for these learnerships should be made on the Z83 application from (download here). Applications forms can also be obtained from the Department of Social Development, regional offices and institutions.

Documents to be attached to Z83

  • Certified copies of ID

  • Certified copy of Grade 12 certificate

  • CV

  • Foster Care Order ( in cases of foster children)

  • Documentary proof of Child Support Grant

  • Documentary proof of relation to Military Veterans.

  • Motivation from Social Worker.

  • Death Certificate in respect of Orphans.

NB: No incomplete, faxed or emailed applications will be considered. No applications will be accepted at Head Office, 69 Commissioner Street.

All applications should be submitted to the Departmental Regions or Institutions or posted to Private Bag, X35, Johannesburg, 2000.
