Wireless Support Desk Agents Internships 2015

We require a hard working, dedicated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills to join our help desk at our offices on a 12 Month Internship basis in Technopark, Stellenbosch.

Agents will be responsible for client and network related queries on Mikrotik and Ubiquiti equipment setups. They will deal with basic network configurations and troubleshooting where required.


  • Must reside in the Western Cape

  • Willing and able to work after hours and shifts as required

  • Own Vehicle and driver’s licence

  • Minimum Qualification: Matric and Technical Certificate


  • Wireless and/or ADSL install theory and practice

  • Mikrotik certification

  • CCNA / CCNP International certification (advantageous)

  • Knowledge of monitoring links on PRTG and the Dude


  • Ability to handle the hard technical queries under high pressure

  • Striving to continuously improve themselves in terms of learning

  • On the road to becoming an expert across all or most disciplines


  • Communicate verbally and in writing with clients regarding issues before they have been escalated to Tier 2 engineers

  • Solve basic configuration issues

  • Document basic processes as well as required external escalation steps and contact info when assisting with escalations

  • Continue studies and research outside of office hours

  • Escalate issues accordingly to Tier 2 Engineers
