Department of Water & Sanitation Internships 2016

The Department of Water and Sanitation is an equal opportunity, affirmative action employer. A 12 Month Chief Directorate: Water Policy internship.

REQUIREMENTS

National Diploma or Degree in Public Management/Administration.

Knowledge of Microsoft office packages. A valid driver’s license will serve as an added advantage.

DUTIES:

Assist with arrangement of meetings and taking minutes.

Provide administrative support to personnel in the Directorate. Compile related monthly reports and maintain the leave register.

Assist with the implementation of administrative procedures for the directorate including financial and procurement.

Should you be in a possession of a foreign qualification(s), it must be accompanied by an evaluation from South African Qualification Authority (SAQA).

“All SMS shortlisted candidates will be subject to a technical exercise that intends to test relevant technical elements of the job, the logistics of which will be communicated by the department.

Following the interview and technical exercise, the selection panel will recommend candidates to attend a generic managerial competency assessment (in compliance with the DPSA Directive on the implementation of competency based assessments).
