Graduate Analyst Developer/Programmer 2016



J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) is looking for a Graduate Analyst Developer/Programmer  to join its Technology business unit in Joburg.J.P. Morgan is a global leader across banking, markets and investor services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The candidate must be experienced in application development

  • Work with business users to determine and document system requirements (business analysis)

  • Project Management and stakeholder management

  • Sharing of code and knowledge within a team environment and global teams (prescriptive guidance, known patterns). Code reviews are essential.

  • Assisting stakeholders with application testing. Define unit and integration tests for applications.

  • Adhering to the firm’s IT controls and procedures


Key Technology Competencies:

  • .NET programming skills (C#.Net, Patterns and Practices, Unit Testing) [essential]

  • Web development (ASP.Net, JQuery and related libraries, HTML, XML over HTTP, REST Architecture) [essential]

  • MS SQL 2005/8/12 database development experience [essential]

  • Object oriented programming and patterns experience

  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) development experience

  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) development experience
