Sales Support Intern At ABN360 2016

The principal responsibilities of the Sales Support Intern At ABN360 2016 are to support the Sales Support Manager and Sales Team with Admin, Coordination & Presentations.

• Prepare and revise sales presentations on Power Point and DVD to keep up with current market demands.
• Update Daily Contact reports.
• Set up meetings for Sales Managers.
• Submit weekly reports
• Prepare well-articulated, formatted, presentable and professional proposals customized for clients.
• Develop and coordinate documentation that will assist the sales team in selling to their clients
• Understand the advertising systems and be accountable for the coordination of advertising material, scheduling, reports and financial information
• Provide back-up office support to the sales team
• Strategise, analyse and present commercially viable programme data for Management.
• Monitor advertising sales on competitive channels and report findings to the Sales team.
• Implementation development of available research/media tools
• Development of new research/analysis tools
• Monitor programme income and ensure commercially viable
• Preparation and management of marketing material utilized by the sales team for e.g. rate cards and brochures, in conjunction with the Marketing Manager
• Coordinate qualitative research commissioned internally for CNBC Africa and its programs
• Coordinate quantitative research as provided by external research houses such as SABRE, TGI and SAARF etc.
• Subscribe to and/or monitor other relevant industry tools available to assist in sales e.g. List Perfect, Ad Index, and Telmar etc.
• Sales Support material for the Sales team for special event advertising packages
• Provide Analysis reasons for audience figures on the station
• Monitor audience patterns and their competitive environment to plan and develop schedules that will optimize the channel's competitive stance and increase audience share
• Weekly status reports to Sales Assistant Manager.
• Ensure that pre-planned promo campaigns are implemented in accordance with imaging and marketing plans
• Monitor weekly performance of programmes and manage schedules in order to increase audience share and ratings
• Assist in day-to-day operations of the Sales Department ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
• Carry out any other work as deemed necessary from time to time by the Head of Sales/Sales Support Manager
• Department to ensure that all sales contracts are backed up on a monthly basis with correlating invoices and post-campaign analysis.
• Maintain all sales demonstrations and applications in conjunction with the marketing services department.
• Provide a weekly sales report by Friday at noon, which itemises meetings undertaken, proposals delivered and sales concluded for the week & meet set KPI’s.
• Provide a weekly sales pipeline by Friday noon, which accurately reflects the value of the proposals delivered to clients as well as the accurate reflection of the nett cost of concluded sales.
• Attend quarterly sales conferences.
• Carry out any other responsibility as directed by the Head of Sales.
