Matric (Grade 12) / equivalent certificate essential
In the process of obtaining or recently obtained a National Diploma in Electronic Engineering (light current)
Sound knowledge of product development / test methodologies and techniques
Soldering Skills essential
Knowledge of electronic components and the workings of electronic circuits
Valid Drivers license and own reliable transport
Strong Analytical Skills
Strong communication skills (Verbal and Written)
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
Basic design, development and testing of electronic systems, devices and equipment.
Repair and maintain test systems / product units.
Research, Identify and implement best practices in methods and processes in order to achieve quality, consistency and efficiency.
Collect components from suppliers, manufacturers and distributors.
Assist with documentation and compiling training manuals on company hardware and installation procedures and systems.
Organising, maintaining and ordering of electronic component stock
Organising and maintaining invoicing of relevant materials
Liaising with suppliers and obtaining quotations
Soldering of Electronic Components
Prototyping of Stripboards
PCB Design and layout
Assembly of product components and devices
Maintenance and housekeeping of the work stations and storage facilities
Faultfinding, Quality assurance and testing of outgoing electronic products
