M-Net Scheduling Internship Opportunity 2016

M-Net seeks to appoint a pro-active and dedicated individual to assume responsibility as Scheduling Intern: Movie Channels. The successful candidate will report to theHOD: Content Planning & Scheduling and will be based at our offices in Randburg. Preference will be given to EE candidates)

Duties and Responsibilities

Services and information which the individual must provide to external individuals or groups, or one another to accomplish the organization’s mission and strategy:


  • Provide Administrative Assistance to Scheduling Specialist across the movie channels
  • Ensure all relevant information is updated in Synergy and available at all times
  • Ensure programme scheduling across ROA is compliant, yet creative and appropriate for the market
  • Compile write-off and edit lists for ROA
  • Ensure all PC ratings are adhered to
  • Ensure  all programme changes for the other divisions are timeously notified
  • Ensure that all programme schedules are sent out to all Business Units
  • Follow up on all traffic related issues
  • Assist in all ad-hoc projects


  • A degree in Marketing Research is essential
  • Strong knowledge of and a passion for movies is essential
  • Passion for analysing and interpreting of research data
  • Computer literacy (PowerPoint, Excel etc.) is essential
