Planning Internship at Givaudan 2016

  • Learner should be able to have the basic knowledge of planning i.e. Raw materials planning, finish goods planning and understand the fundamentals of MRP.
  • Ability to create purchase orders and communicate well, effectively and efficiently with team, co-workers, business partners, affiliates suppliers and freight forwarders.
  • Ability to create process orders for manufacturing and compile production schedule.
  • Basic knowledge on imports will be required
  • Run daily , weekly , and monthly KPI reports and graphs 
  • Ability to expedite and track raw material deliveries on tracking template
  • Act as a backup for planner when required to and work well in a team environment.
  • Learner may be asked to work extra hours from time to time based on operation requirements.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
Health and Safety
  • Monitor working conditions within responsibility area to ensure practicable compliance within a safe and healthy environment
  • Implement within responsibility area the Safety system designed to ensure OHASA compliance and any written Givaudan International official guidelines
Required Competencies / Skills
  • Degree / equivalent in Supply Chain Management
  • Computer skills
  • SAP knowledge will be an advantage 
  • MS Office skills will be required 
  • Advanced Excel skills will be an advantage (Compiling graphs, pivot tables, vlookup etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Goal and results driven, self-motivated
  • Ability to work well under pressure and display good office etiquette
Decision-Making Authority
  • Ability to make decisions that will benefit the business communicating these decisions to HOD for approval in the absence of Planning Manager
