With the AGSA’s Trainee Auditor Programme, you will be provided with clear direction to ensure you’re successful in your goal to become a CA(SA).
To enthusiastic South African citizens, the AGSA offers a 3-year contract position, complete commitment from Senior Management and the AGSA as a whole to assist and support them through their studies (including study support, buddy and structured mentorship), 20 days’ study leave for their first attempt and, depending on performance and pass rate, upward career progression, with promotion to Senior Audit Specialist after two years.

Objective of the programme
To assist management in the performance of regularity audits on government departments, provincial departments and local governments.
To manage the complete day-to-day running of the audit whilst maintaining client relations on behalf of audit manager and team.

To qualify, you need a BCompt, BCom Accounting or BCom degree (with auditing, accounting and management accounting as majors).
It is an added advantage if you have a Certificate in Theory of Accounting (CTA) or a BCom Honours degree.
