Finance Intern at AutoTraderSA 2016

We’re looking for a Finance/Accounting intern. The student filling this position will handle a wide range of duties.

  • Assist with ad hock financial accounting duties
  • On-boarding new customers
  • Corporate governance loading and vetting contracts
  • Attribute customer orders including manual orders
  • Maintain upgrade and downgrade data
  • Vetting and opening supplier accounts
  • Manage corporate governance tickets
  • Process customer invoices
  • Collect on all overdue accounts
  • Assist with cash-up function
  • Daily administration of activity report
  • Data entry
  • Credit checks
  • Administration of cell phones and 3G cards including:
    • Calling service providers to report lost phones/ faulty phone/ organising new cell phones/ 3G contracts
    • Follow up on monthly invoices and ensuring invoicing Is per signed agreement with service provider
    • Facilitating insurance claims
    • Maintain a list of each employee allocated a phone
    • Liaise with HR where cell phone/ 3G limits are exceeded to recover funds from employee
  • Conduct periodic physical verification of fixed assets by tag number and location
  • Assist in tagging of new assets
  • Provide monthly reports that track IT and operations actual spend versus CAPEX Budget
  • Management of company fleet including:
    • Registration of vehicles
    • Sale of vehicles
    • Updating vehicle details with transport department including paying licencing fee
