Graphic Designer Intern at Discovery 2016

Discovery Limited is a South Africa-based financial services group that is listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange with its headquarters in Sandton.

To create and maintain information on our Knowledge Management system, PinPoint – housed in the Discovery Intranet (DNA). Initiate and implement internal communication strategies.

Key Outputs 
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following broad job functions:
• Communication with internal and selected external clients
• Internal communication and relationship management
• Analysis and structuring of product information on PinPoint
• Loading product training manuals and information
• On-going maintenance of information and documents
Quality management of internal communications and PinPoint
• Ad hoc communication projects and campaigns
• Systems testing for new developments
• Conduct presentations
• Compile professional documentation that may be used for strategic purposes
• Potentially compile articles for newsletters and magazines

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Be South African Citizens; Matric
  • BA Communication or Marketing degree/diploma -Completed (Within last 6/2months)
  • Have effective communication skills in the English language;
  • Must not be currently employed or have more than 6 months’ work experience Essential education
