Sales & Marketing Graduate Programme 2016

This is an opportunity for a newly graduated Sales & Marketing degreed person to be employed by Primador with the view to undergo a twelve month internship programme. This internship is the departure point for a career in the Sales Function of the Company.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
  • B degree in Sales & Marketing with an accredited higher education institution within South Africa
  • Good understanding of the principles of marketing, sales and distribution 
  • A working knowledge of basic accounting principles and National Credit Act
  • Between zero and six months workplace experience gained in a Sales environment - experience in the Aluminium Industry will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of aluminium products & hardware will also be advantageous
  • Computer literate - MS Office package, SAP experience will be an added advantage  

Job Specification...

  • The objective of the internship is for the graduate to obtain work experience in the following areas:
  • Developing business partnership & relationships with external customers
  • Promoting and selling of Primador's products and services against a pre-set sales volume budget. 
  • Planning around call cycles and sales strategies
  • Providing of input, based on customer intelligence, for the development of divisional sale strategies
  • Increasing market share by maintaining and establishing new business
  • Performing against and achieve at least the minimum standards and goal sets, as reflected within agreed KPA's. 
  • Ensuring at all times that service levels are maintained at each customer
  • Understanding and complying with the National Credit Act
  • Fully administer client accounts
  • Collating and submitting departmental and sales reports in full and on time.
The internship will allow for regular assessment and feedback on progress and performance.
