Content Strategy Internship at Clockwork Media 2016

Clockwork Media is a South African content and communications agency which specialises in working closely with our clients to get the right message across.

We help brands convey the right message by creating, shaping and sharing communications in the best way possible.

Clockwork Media is looking for a recent graduate to join South Africa’s fastest growing content and communications agency and fill the role of content strategy intern. This will be a six-month internship.

The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to gain invaluable experience, drink and eat copious amounts of free coffee and toasted sandwiches while earning some monies on the side. You should be strong of heart and steady of hand.

You will be working closely with the content team at large helping manage the day to day deliverables on a wide portfolio of clients.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Must be able to research and write great copy on a cross-section of subjects
  • A verifiable degree in journalism or media studies from a reputable institution
  • Has a way with words and a keen interest in business and technology
  • Can work independently as well as within a team
  • Must have impeccable interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flawless grammar
  • Must be able to understand how flow contributes to clear and concise copy
  • Must be able to work within stringent deadlines while under pressure
  • Must be able to take criticism and work within clients’ expectations
  • Must have an eye for detail
  • Must be a generally awesome, quirky person able to take a joke or 50
