NW Department Public Works and Roads Internships 2016

The Department of Public Works (DPW) aims to promote the government’s objectives of economic development, good governance and rising living standards and prosperity by providing and managing the accommodation, infrastructure needs of national departments, by leading the national Expanded Public Works Programme and transformation of the construction and property industries.

Internships are offered in the following fields of study:

Facilities Management:
• Real Estate
• Town Planning
• Property Management
• Landscaping/Horticulture

NB: A confirmation letter from the institution indicating that the Learner requires practical experience for completion of studies is required.

• 12-month contract: Stipend of R4 989.50 per month
• 18-month contract: Stipend of R4 155.00 per month

Candidates will be subjected to a security screening process.

It will be expected of candidates to be available for selection interviews on a date, time and place as determined by the Department. Applicants who have served as interns in other Departments will not be considered.
