The position will entail you helping implement the communication strategies and client administration for a variety of our lifestyle and events clients, as well as coordinating and implementing tactical and digital campaigns that align with the agreed client outcomes.
You will assist with writing and co-ordinating material for both lifestyle and consumer media; developing and managing relationships with key media; securing coverage across multiple media platforms (traditional and digital); assisting with some aspects of client service, including developing meeting agendas, contact reports and distribution of documentation; administration and management of media databases, development of clipping files and guard books and providing support across our digital services division.
You will work from our offices in Rondebosch and be part of a small team of passionate PR professionals.
The ideal candidate will have recently completed / currently completing a relevant tertiary qualification, have good writing skills, a solid grasp - and keen interest in - the media landscape with a focus on digital (including social media), and will be fully MS Office literate. A motivated self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills, detail oriented, organised, deadline-driven and the ability to handle stress and multitask will secure you the role.
