To assist with forensic investigation under leadership of the team leader and the head of the Forensic Investigations department to ensure (relevant to the mandate) anti-fraud processes/Installation of risk prevention/mitigation processes that includes proper controls/activities are designed, implemented, and managed with or without the involvement of other role players.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS
General office administration.
Retrieving documentation for investigation purposes.
Opening investigation files and managing/updating the case management system.
Attending to general enquiries by clients / other departments.
Preliminary investigations: interviewing the complainants and obtaining affidavits ( If required to do so , the person must be willing to travel overnight.
Where appropriate take full ownership of cases assigned to her/him.
Building and maintaining relationships with institutions such as banks, home affairs; insurance companies and other entities.
Proactive investigations; Work more closely with Internal stake holders (business intelligence etc) in order to identify trends / minimise risk etc.
Deal with ad hoc assignments under clear instruction and guidance of the Team Leader analysing information and compiling spread sheets.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Any relevant criminal/forensics qualification
Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans
Computer literacy (MS Office and Excel etc)
