RTIA Internship Opportunity 2017

The Road Traffic Infringement Agency is an entity of the Department of Transport which came into being in 2010. It was established in terms of the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences Act 46 of 1988( AARTO).

Calling all Unemployed Undergraduates and Postgraduates: The Road Traffic Infringement Agency (RTIA) invites applications for 2018 internship opportunities based in Midrand for e period of 12 months. Successful candidates will earn a  salary of R8 400 per month (Ref. I/RTIA/2017).

RTIA is established through an Act of Parliament, AARTO Act (No 46 of 1998). It is an entity of the National Department of Transport and is listed as a Schedule 3A Public Entity under the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No 1 of 1999).

The mandate of the RTIA is derived from the objectives of the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offence Act (AARTO).

Requirements

Unemployed South African undergraduate and postgraduate students are invited to apply in the fields listed below:
  • National Diploma/B Degree: Traffic and Policing Management
  • National Diploma/B Degree: Communications
  • National Diploma/B Degree: Administration/Management Studies
  • National Diploma/B Degree: Business Administration/Entrepreneurship
  • National Diploma/B Degree: Financial Accounting/Public Sector Accounting/Local Government Accounting
  • National Diploma/B Degree: Human Resources Management, Management of Training/Human Resources Development
  • National Diploma/B Degree: Cost and Management Accounting
  • National Diploma/B Degree: Internal Audit
  • National Diploma/B Degree: Supply Chain Management/Logistics
  • LLB: Specialising in Commercial/Corporate/Administrative Law
  • National Diploma/B Degree/BSc: Technology Support/Networking/Information Technology/Software Development
  • National Diploma/B Degree: Road Traffic/Road Transport/Road Safety/Traffic Policing
Please note that you may not have previously been employed in any internship programme, and you may not be older than 35 years.
