Multimedia Editor Internship at Perform 2017

We are looking for a young and vibrant individual with a keen interest in Digital Sports Media and working knowledge of football and will have recently graduated from college or ideally have worked in a small company.


The individual hired will deliver dynamic and impactful graphics and video for the Goal Africa audience.

Here at Perform we like to consider ourselves a progressive, dynamic, fun and fast-paced global sports media broadcasting company. We are passionate about what we do and really good at it too!!

An ability to think on your feet, rapidly react to a sporadic news agenda and plan around the football calendar is essential.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR NEW ROLE?
  • Establish, create and test a variety of marketing collateral; briefing design, product and editorial teams 
  • Create and produce editorial and commercial graphics and video content for social media and website 
  • Liaising with relevant stakeholders 
  • Create and maintain style templates 
  • Produce/ edit video content 
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INTERVIEW?
  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate 
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing/ Design 
  • Working knowledge and experience of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and other social media 
  • Intermediate to expert level ability to work in Adobe After Effects 
  • Computer skills (intermediate-advanced) 
  • Digital marketing (website and social media) 
  • SEO 
  • Google analytics 
  • Relationship management 
  • Understanding of changing technology and multimedia design tools including Photoshop and Illustrator, Adobe Pro tools
