Finance Intern at Coronation Fund Managers 2018

Introducing a fantastic opportunity to start a career in an established Finance team at Coronation Fund Managers.

The main function of the role of the Finance Intern at Coronation Fund Managers would be to provide assistance to the creditors function, with particular focus on the expanding international creditors process.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Managing 300-360 creditors with a book value of R20m per month
2. Matching of invoices to statements.
3. Capturing of creditors invoices, preparing cheque / eft payments of these invoices, and processing cashbook payments in Accpac.
4. Liaison with Creditors.
5. Weekly and ad hoc Creditors payments
6. Attend to queries from Creditors, staff and ensure that VAT invoices received are authorized by Managers
7. Downloading bank statements for all entities and updating the Cash position daily.
8. Processing expenses for cut off - 30th of the current month and ensuring all GL codes are displayed correctly as per the Budget.
9. Collating payments to meet deadline requirement for payment run on the 15th & at Month end.
10. Importing Payment batch report from Accpac EFT Advantage and uploading the file into Nedbank Business.
11. Setting up cashbook payments on Nedbank Business monthly for relevant entities (e.g. lisp rebate, rebate reinvestments, Cash transfers and interest claims.
12. Reallocation of Prepayment expenses at month end.
13. Collating intercompany invoices by month end (cost recoveries)
14. Providing HR Quarterly with Training and Recruitment schedules
15. Assist Marketing with reallocation of expenses in General Ledger due to change of allocation.
16. Preparation of Overseas Transfer application submission to Nedbank
17. Maintenance of overseas creditors’ file and capturing
18. Ad-hoc duties: filling, petty cash
19. Assist auditors at year end.

1. Minimum requirement 
- Matric.
