Corporate Image, one of South Africa's highest-rated public relations and communications consultancies, has an opportunity for a graduate intern to begin in January 2018.

Important: The position would be based at one of our clients’ offices in Pretoria, with regular communication with the Corporate Image Johannesburg and Cape Town teams.

Non-negotiable requirements

A UNISA or University of Pretoria degree in:
  • Communication Science
  • Media Studies
  • Marketing
  • Journalism
  • Sociology
  • English
  • Politics
  • Copy-editing ability & good command of English grammar
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint) 
  • South African applicants only
  • Applicants must be under the age of 29 years
  • Internship runs from 1 January to 30 June 2018
  • Offices in Lynnwood Office Park (applicants must be based in Pretoria)
  • Full-day position, five days a week
  • Occasional overtime is required
  • Graduate interns receive a monthly stipend
The ideal candidate would have:
  • A passion for communication and very hard work
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
  • Strong spoken isiXhosa / isiZulu / isiSotho language skills
  • An interest in media and the SA media landscape
  • General knowledge/interest in current affairs
  • An eye for detail
  • An interest in research
