Administrator Internship Programme at CHIETA 2018

A position exists at the CHIETA Head Office for a Gauteng Administration Intern. This position will be responsible for administrative duties within the Gauteng Regional Unit. The position reports to the Gauteng Regional Manager. Candidates who meet the requirements of the position are invited to apply. 

Vision, Mission and Values
The Chemical Industries Education & Training Authority (CHIETA) is a statutory body established by the Skills Development Act (1998). The Chemical SETA was established to facilitate skills development in the chemical industries sector and ensure that skills needs are identified and addressed through a number of initiatives by the SETA and the sector.

Requirements: A relevant and completed tertiary qualification in Public Administration/ Office Administration. 
.Experience: Preferably graduates with no work experience and in need of in-service training to qualify.

  • Computer literacy skills (MS Office) are essential.

Key Performance Areas
 Assist with regional tasks/projects and process related payments
 Submit learner’s contracts for enrolment
 Follow up on enrolment numbers
 Administrative duties such as copying and scanning of documents
 Respond to calls and basic requests from stakeholders
 Assist with arrangement pertaining regional meetings/events
 Assist with travel and accommodation bookings
 Assist at the reception desks and receive/despatch documents
