Digby Wells Environmental Internship Opportunity 2018

The successful candidate will be required to provide assistance in terms of water quantity monitoring, analysis and hydrological assessment.

Job Objectives:
  • Assist with water quantity/hydrology input into EIA/EMP/IWWMP and IWULA;
  • Assist Conduct water quantity monitoring as part of baseline assessment;
  • Assist in conducting flood line and hydrological assessment;
  • Use of HEC_RAS and other hydrology software;
  • Assist in the preparation of water permit applications and other regulatory documents;
  • Conduct field work including site reconnaissance, water quality sampling, etc. and
  • Report writing.
  • Time and budget management
  • Project management implementation
  • Communication (written and oral)
  • Self-motivated and creative
  • Understanding of the National Water Act and DWA guidelines
Qualifications: BSc/ BES degree in Hydrology.

An all-inclusive remuneration package will be on offer.
