Marketing and Communications Internships at Curro Holdings 2018

We have two vacancies for passionate and energetic marketing and communications interns to join our marketing team at Curro head office. Your primary focus will be retention and recruitment; you will be required to seek new and innovative ways to market the Curro brand both internally and externally.

Successful candidates will start their 18-month internship in the call centre, actively engaging with existing and new customers.

We will add marketing-related administrative tasks and over time you will be required to drive marketing and communications projects at school level. This comprehensive programme will ensure that your marketing and communications skills are sharpened and relevant in this fast-paced work environment.

You will work closely with the centralised marketing and communications team, and will help develop, expand and maintain our marketing channels.

Key responsibilities will be outlined as part of the programme.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing and communications; a post graduate degree or diploma could be to your advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Afrikaans – an additional African language would be an advantage)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of different marketing and communications techniques
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
  • The applicant must comply to the Curro Code of ethics and must undergo a compulsory criminal records check
A salary relative to the position will be paid.
