Marketing Trainee: Social Media at Sportscene 2018

Do you love fashion, brands and social media? Do you have a way with words and get excited about engaging with people? We are looking for someone energetic and creative with a talent for social media to join the Sportscene marketing team.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Driving the overall social media strategy for the brand, from conceptual ideas, to content, implementation and reporting
  • Working with all members of the marketing team to ensure brand and message consistency
  • Monitoring all social platforms and responding to and engaging with customers
  • Tracking the online conversation around the brand
  • Driving key metrics across all platforms against KPIs
  • Reporting and measurement on an ongoing basis
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments
To apply you need to have:
  • A 3 year degree or diploma in marketing / advertising / communicationExperience in writing
  • Knowledge of industry trends
  • Experience in and knowledge of key social platforms and tools
  • A strong command of the English language and great commuication skills (verbal and written)
  • An eye for detail and good project management skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy

Preference will be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act and in line with TFG’s Employment Equity Policy.
