Communications Graduate at Danone 2018

You will be part of the GS Department and, working with the Head of Corporate Affairs and Internal Communication Manager, be responsible to co-ordinate internal events, draft key messages, and support internal (and, where relevant, external) communication mediums such as newsletters, magazines, and web media.

About the Job

Event project management:
Coordinate the logistics for internal events – e.g: product deliveries, merchandizing, transport, accommodation etc…
Manage relation with suppliers
Manage projects against defined project plan

Internal Communication
Manage Danone Communicate
Update Communications boards and screens

Internal Magazine
Propose and find content for Internal magazine.
Coordinate articles and design

Danone Website
Update our website with fresh news (coordinate with supplier)

Danone Nations Cup
Supplier relations
Product and event management
Internal communications on event and employee engagement

Support HR projects
Dan’well initiatives and wellness days
Rewards & recognition awards
Communications support on all projects

Intranet Management
Manage the intranet for Danone Southern Africa

Your Background & Experience
BA Communication or similar

Personal Characteristics & Skills:
  • Strong Powerpoint / Word / Excel skills
  • Photoshop / InDesign (basic knowledge advantageous)
  • Good writing and spelling
  • Innovative thinking / Out of the box / Creative
  • Takes initiative
  • Autonomous & energetic
  • Enthusiastic and open mind
  • Stress tolerance
  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to challenge at all levels.
  • Clear communicator: verbal & written
  • Good web/social media knowledge: Facebook / Twitter / blogs / etc…
  • Planning and organisation skills
