Novus Holdings Graduate Opportunity 2019

Novus Holdings is currently seeking to appoint a Payroll Intern to assist with the Payroll Department in various accounting related functions in the monitoring processing and reporting of company payroll accounts.

The ideal candidate needs to have completed their Internal Auditing qualification.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Compile and analyse accounting reconciliations
• Prepare accounting reports and assist in the monthly closing process
• Calculate and prepare accounting journal entries
• Assist in the review and analysis of invoices for payments
• Assist in the preparation of expense allocators

Educational Requirements
• Matric
• Graduate student who has completed a National Diploma in Internal Auditing within the last two years

Experience Requirements
• The ideal candidate will have an interest in finance, accounting, payroll and auditing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or comparable applications
• No work experience required

Skills & Competencies
• Excellent communication and ability to email with all levels of employees
• Microsoft excel
• Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Self-motivated and organized with strong analytical, time management and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Flair for numbers
• Mathematical background
• Strong numerical skills required
