Festo Marketing Co-ordinator internship 2019

A vacancy exists for Marketing Co-ordinator internship with a digital marketing focus.



a. Key accountability
The Digital Marketing Coordinator oversees the planning, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the company’s digital marketing platforms and digital marketing campaigns in-line with budgetary requirements, marketing strategies and the Festo brand.

b. Summary of job contents
• Assist with compiling annual plan, budget and schedules for digital marketing for the year.
• Develop traffic, lead and audience generation strategy across all digital platforms.
• Provide accurate reports and analysis (website analytics, etc.) to demonstrate effective return on investment (ROI) and manage KPIs (key performance indicators). Make recommendations for improvement based on results.
• Responsible for the digital marketing activities associated with campaigns & customer events in support of Marketing Product Manager and sales activities.
• Create and upload/submit content (copy, images, graphics, video, content etc.) to keep the organisation's website, SharePoint, WeNet & Social media platforms updated.
• Assist distributors/ Official Partners with implementing the proper Festo brand/CI on their digital platforms.
• Communicate with internal and external clients on progress or completion of tasks.
• Write, compose and dispatch email marketing campaigns (internal & external).
• Sourcing of appropriate imagery from internal and external databases for digital requirements.
• Design website banners and assist with web visuals.
• Assist in the management of all administrative accounts and budgets associated with social media platforms.
• Ability to improve & co-ordinate paid marketing efforts such as SEM (search engine marketing).
• Conduct keyword research.
• Contribute to company and industry blogs.
Manage the database and assist with lead generation activities.
• Negotiate with media suppliers to achieve the best placement for Festo.
• Research new online media opportunities that may benefit the business including mobile, social media, development of blogs and forums.
• Keep up to date with current digital trends.
• Assist with general marketing co-ordination support for internal and external stakeholders when required.



1. Qualifications/Requirements/experience
Qualifications BCom Digital Marketing Degree/equivalent or other relevant tertiary qualification (i.e. IMM, Vega, etc.) Short course on Social Media Marketing will be an advantage

Requirements
  • Experience using Open Text, WordPress or similar website CMS, mobile application CMS, Campaign Monitor e-news CMS, 
  • Google Analytics, 
  • Google AdWords CMS, 
  • Survey Monkey and Mailchimp. 
  • MS Office package including Explorer and Outlook essential Knowledge of design packages an advantage (i.e. Photoshop, Adobe Editor) 
  • Previous experience with SharePoint and SAP an advantage 
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English. Afrikaans is an advantage) Enthusiastic team player Professional business nature 
  • Ability to work without direct supervision 
  • High level of integrity and work ethic 
  • Ability to work under pressure

Experience
  • Preferably 1 year experience in B2B digital marketing Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice. 
  • Experience with website maintenance/development, SEO, Email marketing, and social media.

Salary R7000.00 per month
