Johnson & Johnson Pharmacist Internship Opportunity 2019

Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Pharmacist Intern to support the manufacturing (dispensary, manufacturing, packaging and distribution) processes to ensure that these processes are compliant, reliable and efficient.

Day-to-Day Support: Ensure that procedures and processes within area of responsibility are performed in accordance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and current Good Manufacturing Practices.

Process Knowledge: Develop an understanding of the production processes. i,e Process flow, process control, production equipment, etc.

Product Stewardship: Ensure GMP, EHS and Quality compliance during the execution of the production plan and all related tasks.

Continuous Improvement: Drive, contribute and support continuous improvement initiatives in the production environment in line with Good Manufacturing Practices and standards within the department and together with the management team.

Support Regulatory Affairs:
Provide support for the day-to-day execution of regulatory activities relating to product lifecycle management. i.e. updates to the registration dossier, updating artwork, etc.

Exposure to the new product development (NPD) process through on-the-job learning, i.e. NPD project meetings, regulatory submission strategy, claims and labeling updates.


  • Registered with SAPC as a Pharmacist Intern
  • B. Pharm degree successfully completed
  • Good planning and administrative competencies
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Logical approach to problem solving and trouble shooting
  • High work standards and business ethics
  • Must be available to work shifts if required
  • Experience in Microsoft Office
