NAC Internship Programme 2020

The National Arts Council of South Africa (NAC) is inviting applications for an Internship Programme that would run for a period of twelve (12) months. Interns will be placed within the NAC offices in Newtown, Johannesburg.

NAC is contributing towards skills development by providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work experience in relevant fields. 


The NAC’s vision is – a vibrant, sustainable arts community that enriches lives through the free and creative expression of South Africa’s cultures / through strengthening artistic and cultural creation.

Through this we will be a catalyst for social inclusion and contribute to the evolutionary development of a unique, diverse and inclusive South African Identity.


  • Applicants must be graduates in Human Resources Management (Degree/BTech)
  • Applicants must be at least 21 to 35 years old.
  • Applicants must be unemployed.
  • Successful interns will be expected to sign an Internship Agreement.

Stipend: R5 000.00 per month.

Location: Johannesburg
