PathCare Academy Learnership Opportunity 2020

The PathCare Academy invites responsible and respectful the Contact Centre/Debt Collector Learnership (1 year contract) for individuals who possess a well-developed work ethic and who are responsive to customer needs to apply for commencing in November 2020.


 PathCare is a partnership of pathologists in private practice across South Africa that has been assisting doctors and healthcare professionals determine or confirm diagnoses since 1922. We are registered with the HPCSA (Health Professions Council of South Africa) and all our laboratories are SANAS accredited.


  • Grade 12 pass with proficiency in literacy and numeracy
  • Computer literate
  • Minimum typing speed of 20wpm
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to concentrate effectively, pay good attention to detail and problem solve
  • Fluent in English with an understanding of basic Afrikaans


  • Screening of applications
  • Selected candidates will be shortlisted and invited to complete online proficiency tests
  • Highest scoring candidates on the above will be invited to attend panel interviews via zoom
  • This is an entry level programme aimed at school leavers who reside in Cape Town and are interested in training in a debtors contact centre environment.
It is specifically brought to the attention of interested persons that only those candidates who fully comply with the application instructions, score the highest in the competitive testing and interview processes, and who are deemed most suitable will be selected. Theoretical and practical training will take place at PathCare, N1 City, Goodwood
