Siemens Graduate Programme 2020

Siemens is looking for newly for talented graduates to learn critical skills and ultimately become specialists at Siemens Energy. At the start of the programme, you’ll be assigned a personal mentor. Together, you’ll decide what your programme will look like and determine the general direction of your career path. This will be based on your qualifications and interests, as well as what’s important for us as a business.

It’s important to us that you’re put into the right department from day one as this is a working programme it’s all about learning by doing. You’ll be actively integrated into the day-to-day business of your project teams, assuming full responsibility for the tasks assigned to you.

1. Engineers in Training programme 

The Engineers in Training is a 24 Months Programmes aimed at developing youth engineering Professionals. 

Requirements: 

  • Candidates will need to register with ECSA for their professional qualifications
  • Clear criminal record
  • Hard working, driven, be able to work under pressure
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to perform under pressure
  • Must be proactive
  • Must have attention to detail and fault-finding skills
  • Travel to Sites

2. Business Administration Training Scheme (BATS) 

The Commercial Graduate Training Scheme (BATS) is a 1-year programme for young finance graduates.

Requirements: 

  • Graduates must hold a BCOM in accounting or Finance. 
  • Candidates will need to register with a professional body for their professional qualifications
  • Clear criminal record
  • Hard working, driven, be able to work under pressure
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to perform under pressure
  • Must be proactive

3. Apprentices: Fitter and Turner PL 14

The Siemens Energy Apprenticeship Scheme (SEAS) is a 48-month programme.

Requirements: 
  • Candidate must have passed the following subjects at TVET college to join the Programme: Mathematics N3, Engineering Science N3, Mechanotechnology N3, Engineering Drawings N3. 
  • Clear criminal record
  • Hard working, driven, be able to work under pressure,
  • Must be able to meet deadlines
  • Must be able to perform under pressure
  • Must be proactive
  • Must have attention to detail and fault-finding skills

Being part of the Siemens Graduate Program means you’re a real Siemens employee with a regular permanent employment contract. The conditions of this contract depend on local requirements and regulations.
