Philips Traineeship Programme 2020

Philips has been successfully running the traineeship programme in South Africa for the last past five years and this year again we are expecting to bring onboard talented fresh graduates who will during the 12 months of traineeship not just learn to work but work to learn!

Applicants Must Be: 

  • You must be a South African Graduate and have completed all modules/credits for the qualification mentioned above with a minimum of 60%.
  • Qualifications obtained post -2016 will be preferred.

1. Finance Trainee

In this role, you will have the opportunity to

Support the Financial Controller-Health Systems (HS) South Africa in the financial management of the HS South Africa business focusing on reporting, financial analysis activities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Accounting orientated study.

2. Credit & Collections Trainee

In this role, you will have the opportunity to
  • Support the Credit and Collections Manager (HS) South Africa in the financial management of the HS South Africa business focusing on reporting, financial analysis activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Accounting orientated study.
  • 3. Field Service Engineer Trainee
In this role you will have the opportunity to 
  • Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of a variety of system equipment.
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering: Light Current/ Computer Systems completed /Biomedical Engineering.

4. Supply Chain Trainee

In this role you will have the opportunity to 
  • Monitoring back-orders and supply estimated time of arrival (ETA) status reports to internal and external customers. 
Requirements: 
  • Bachelor in Supply Chain orientated study.

5. IT Trainee

In this role you will have the opportunity to 
  • Helping evaluates business demands, understands criticality from the business and helps manage priorities and expectations.
Requirements: 
  • Equivalent experience to Associates’ Degree in Business, IT, Engineering.

6. Procurement Trainee

In this role you will have the opportunity to 
  • Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Supply Chain)
Requirements
  • Utilize your theoretical background and skills to provide the best in class customer service. Play a key role in ensuring long term customer satisfaction and loyalty, as well in the growth of customer service and sales business, by supporting with preventive maintenance, installation, and repairs on core Philips Health Systems equipment.
