1.Purchasing Graduate - Advance Supplier Quality Engineer

The main missions of the role are to:

  • Deploy APQP related to the development phase (or in current production) of Bought-Out Parts following the Group's purchasing requirements
  • Assess suppliers in collaboration with the commodity buyer in order to complete the global panel evaluation
  • Give recommendations and/or technical decisions to ensure a defect-free process through program management
  • Manage progress plan with low-performance suppliers in collaboration with the commodity buyer
  • Manage the process qualification (trial run at rate & process audit) with plant Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer and program quality engineer
  • Follow the APQP progress with the status report and take decision in collaboration with the program team
  • Train the suppliers and make sure that the defined standards are properly applied
  • Monitor the Production Part Approval before the transfer to the plant and hand over to the plant SQA Engineer
  • Manage action plans with suppliers in case of deviations
  • Conduct supplier panel assessments in accordance to the commodity/the process & technology responsibilities
  • Follow up the Master schedules for new parts and communicate potentials risks to the team 


2. Purchasing Graduate - Supplier Quality Development Engineer

The main missions of the role are to :

  • Assesses the suppliers in collaboration with the commodity buyer / serial life buyer / program buyer (in this case, if delegation from his hierarchy) and expert (if required), in order to complete the global evaluation driven in the scope of panel approach.
  • Promotes the deployment of FES tools at Suppliers (QSE & PSE aspects such as 5S, 7 Quality basics, APQP,…)
  • Ensures/organizes/coordinates the related Supplier Development actions (as per above) , based on inputs from assessments, SNC (Sourcing Nomination Committee), Program or Series escalation   
  • Carries out improvement/convergence plan with Red list Suppliers (as defined from red list or requested by commodity); Supervises the follow-up and closure of S/R, PF4s & PFx with big quantities spills.
  • Has veto right (under delegation from SQM or SQD) during Sourcing Committee process for the selection of suppliers in programs and in series, in particular for transfers (e.g. relocation in Low Cost Countries, insolvency…)
  • Contributes to the elaboration of functional specifications for the Commodity group he represents, including the "LL Lessons Learned" from previous programs, audits and performance in series.
  • Consolidates the quality performance by Commodity groups /sub-groups (both in development and series) in the scope of benchmarking activity.
  • Performs assessment according to Faurecia standards and supports the Commodity buyer / serial life buyer / program buyer (in this case, if delegation from his hierarchy) to obtain efficient action plan.
  • Trains the suppliers to Faurecia tools :  QSE/ 7 Basics, PSE and others
  • Drives team work with experts, SQM, ASQ and plant SQA to elaborate functional specifications on Commodity groups / sub-groups.
  • Participates with SQM delegation in APQP steps to give recommendations for supplier selection in programs (Risk assessment, Sourcing Steering and nomination committee, quality commitment …) and series (Process Change Request approach for relocation in LCC).
  • Manage the Top worst suppliers meeting and ensure follow up.
