Optisolutions Administrative Internship Opportunity 2021

Contract length: 12 months, subject to quarterly reviews

Description: OptiSolutions is looking for an individual for the their Administrative Internship Opportunity.

The candidate must be self-motivated and committed to continuous learning to join our team as an Information Technology Intern.

The candidate should have a keen interest in IT. Training will be provided to the selected candidates, who will have the opportunity to obtain the necessary skill, competencies and experience within the field.

The selected candidates will be required to support the business with different tasks and responsibilities during their contract period.

Requirements:

  • Matric certificate.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Fluent in English.
  • 18- 27 years.
  • Access to laptop/computer and internet connection.
  • Exposure to, or qualifications in Administration, Accounting, and Human Resources will be advantageous.

  • Technologically Savvy: can operate email; cloud-based storage; printing; scanning; has skills to learn how to navigate applications and other such tools.
  • Self-Control: maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, controlling anger, and avoiding aggressive behaviour, even in very difficult situations.
  • Independence and initiative: developing one's own way of doing things, guiding oneself with little or no supervision; willingness to take on responsibility and depending on oneself to get things done.
  • Management of Personnel or Resources: motivating, developing, and directing people as they work; identifying the best people for the job.
  • Systems Analysis: determining how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
  • Personnel and Human Resources Knowledge: understanding of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labour relations and negotiation, and personnel information system.

Job Role:

  • Organise and chair Disciplinary Meetings.
  • Organise and run Staff Monthly Check-ins.
  • Facilitate Staff Personal Development.
  • Co-ordinating staff leave.
  • Maintain staff database and information.
  • Recruitment, onboarding and probation.
  • Offboarding.
  • Policy updates and workshops.
