AAPAM IT Internship 2021

Description: AAPAM is seeking a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology, innovation, and creative problem-solving. 

The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with our IT Team.


The African Association for Public Administration and Management (AAPAM) is a premier international professional organization that promotes best practice and excellence in public administration and management in Africa through research, publications, training, seminars, consultancy, conferences and awards.

Closing Date: 1 March 2021

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Website administration.
  • Database management.
  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
  • Organize and maintain IT resources.
  • Lend IT support in areas such as cyber security, programming, analytics, and back-up.
  • Any other roles as they arise.

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems from a recognized institution.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced organization.
  • Experience with software such as Zoom, Ms Teams and leading content management
  • systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in teams.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.

Remuneration: The project will pay a monthly stipend.
