Description: Bolton Footwear is inviting graduates to apply for their Marketing Internship 2021.
This is a 12-month SETA internship that exists within our Marketing department based in Elsies River, Cape Town.
For this period the incumbent will form part of the Marketing team. As part of this team you will provide support and assist in building recognisable brand awareness.

Today, Bolton Footwear is one of South Africa’s foremost footwear companies. All footwear offered by the Group is targeted at defined market niches, competitively priced and manufactured from the highest quality of leather and raw material available.
The Group’s three footwear manufacturing plants in Great Brak River, Oudtshoorn and Cape Town have the capacity to produce 8 000 pairs of high-quality leather footwear per day and employ over 1100 employees across all sites.
Remuneration: R4000 - R5000 per month

Key areas of responsibility include:
- Assist in creating company newsletter
- Liaise with media companies with regards to promoting brands
- Daily support and admin to ensure the functionality and coordination of the departments activities
- Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather and analyze important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
- Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
- Monitor and provide feedback on the company’s website and social media account
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
- National Diploma/B-Tech in Marketing, Business or relevant field
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Understands brand building
- Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases would be an advantage
- Proficient in Photoshop and Creative cloud
- Understands managing social media platforms
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing
