KEY OUTCOME AREAS WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Content Creation: Assist with developing an engaging social media post, intranet content, and conduct research for the internal digital
  • Digital Management: Assist with research for social media and intranet content calendars. Assist with scheduling and posting content, manage follower engagement across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Hello Peter, Google Reviews etc), and on the
  • Communication Support: Draft content for internal communications materials, such as public holiday announcements, health awareness days, and office closure notices. Conduct research to support internal
  • Marketing Support: Assist with planning and execution of all Scheme events, including the Annual General Meeting (AGM), year-end functions, and Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers. Source quotes, draft business cases, and review artwork and samples. Manage the delivery of all production items.
  • Sponsorship: Review and draft sponsorship responses, compile monthly sponsorship
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the marketing and communications department, including scheduling meetings, Drafting Summary minutes, maintaining databases, and managing media lists. Assist with collating invoices and relevant documents for supplier
  • Ad hoc: Prepare press packs, gift hampers, receive and file delivery notes, filing for the department, prepare and clean stock Do a monthly stock recon and inventory list.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Diploma qualification in Public Relations/Communications, Journalism, Marketing, and/or relevant NQF level 6
  • Some exposure/experience in communications and/or marketing within an agency, NPO or corporate environment will be an
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign)
  • Exposure/experience in the medical aid industry or a similar field is
  • Proficiency in digital media platforms, social media management, photography, and Microsoft Office
