Reporting into Data Scientist.
Your responsibilities & learning outcomes (not limited to):
- Data collection for machine learning models
- Access and collate data from databases
- Data analysis
- Various analysis techniques and basic report building
- Feature Engineering
- Converting real structured data into features for models
- Python programming skills for machine learning
- MySQL data handling skills
- Query writing skills, T-SQL, and stored procedures
- Machine learning model evaluation & optimisation
- Read and evaluate the outputs of trained models
- Implementing a machine learning solution in business
- Learn how to deal with different business stakeholders
- Calculating monetary uplift of the use of machine learning models
- Learn how to determine the effect of using a machine learning model in business
- Technologies used
- Python: Pandas, Scikit-learn, Numpy, etc.
- AWS (EKS, S3)
- Git
- MySQL
Job Requirements
- Relevant Degree / Diploma preferred
- Bootcamp training within Data Science highly advantageous
- Some experience in scripting and programming skills, including some experience with python, is highly desirable
- Critical thinking with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Eager to learn and grow, self-motivated
- Have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in written and oral English communication
- Team player
- Data-oriented personality
- Ability to work and learn remotely
- Stable internet connection
