About the Role:
- Assist in maintaining and monitoring all HSE management systems on site, including HSE guidelines, objectives, and practices.
- Participate in scheduling and executing audits on site.
- Assist in providing health and safety training and induction to colleagues, contractors, and visitors.
- Help ensure risk assessments are carried out and that health, safety, and environment plans are implemented.
- Attend health and safety meetings as required.
Qualifications:
- Matric/Grade 12 certificate.
- Personal and Skills Development Programme (PSDP) 504500 implementation (advantageous).
- Diploma in Event, Health, and Safety Management (advantageous).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Candidate Essentials:
- Ability to manage, monitor, and verify preventative and corrective actions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Commitment to health and safety principles.
- Valid SAMTRAC certificate (advantageous).
