Apply now for the Lima RDF Internship 2024. We are excited to announce that we have a 12-month internship opportunity available at LIMA Rural Development Foundation.
This opportunity is open to candidates that:
-Have a minimum qualification of National Diploma.
-Must be a South African citizen.
-Are between 18 and 34 years of age.
-Have never held a full-time position before and preferably have not participated on a learnership or internship before.
-Live within 50 kms from our offices/site.
-Are not currently in full time studies and able to attend this internship full time.
-Are willing to be subjected to a credit and criminal check or any industry specific checks required for your job role.
-Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups and people with disabilities in accordance with the organisation employment equity plan.
Internship Opportunities by Province and Field
Agriculture:
- North West: 15 positions across Lichtenburg, Blouberg/Bochum, Musina, Tzaneen, and Thabazimbi. Requires a Degree/Diploma in Agriculture, no prior work experience, and a driver's license (except Blouberg/Bochum). Openings are also available in Limpopo, but residency there is required (see North West details for full criteria).
- Northern Cape: 1 position in Onseepkans/Pofadder. Requires a Degree/Diploma in Agriculture.
- Eastern Cape: 3 positions across Maclear, Matatiele, and Mthatha. Requires a Degree/Diploma in Agriculture or Agri Economics (Mthatha only).
- Mpumalanga: 4 positions across Kwanyamazane, Malelane, and Bushbuckridge/Sabie Sands. Requires a Degree/Diploma in Agriculture.
- KwaZulu-Natal: 2 positions across Richards Bay (uMhlathuze) and uMzumbe. Requires a Degree/Diploma in Agriculture.
Other Fields:
Pietermaritzburg (KwaZulu-Natal):
- 1 Finance Internship (Degree/Diploma unspecified required).
- 1 Marketing Internship (Requires Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Journalism or English Studies).
- 1 Admin Internship (Requires Degree/Diploma in Administration/Finance Management or similar).
- Gauteng (Mamelodi): 2 Admin Intern positions requiring a Degree/Diploma in Financial/Administration Management and a driver's license.
