Apply now for the Dynamic Fluid Control Procurement Internship 2024. We have an immediate need for two procurement interns. An aspiring procurement professional who wants to develop their purchasing skills in a world class manufacturing environment. We are looking for a high performer who can manage multiple tasks in the procurement and supply chain realm.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
• Place purchase orders with our local and international suppliers in order to meet the production schedule
• Assisting in loading pricelists and on contract pricing with vendors
• Support price negotiations for purchasing and build supplier relationships
• Data Management using Sage ERP system.
• Reconciliation of purchase orders and receivables
• Support of bid evaluations of vendor proposals and technical evaluations
• Supporting communications within cross functional teams and with suppliers.
• Any other duties as may be reasonably required of you by your manager.
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Grade 12
• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma (Supply chain, Procurement qualification related to manufacturing) Have a general understanding of procurement, supply chain and ERP systems
EXPERIENCE:
• No work experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook)
• Attention to detail
• Negotiation skills
• Understanding of data analysis
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Time management skills
• Passion for the supply chain industry
