Key Responsibilities
Client Management:
• Respond promptly to client requests on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with the Directors to gather necessary information for client inquiries.
• Maintain the Potential Client Lead sheet, updating it with new inquiries and tracking the status of ongoing ones, as well as noting when a client is won or lost.
• Work closely with clients in preparation for upcoming recording sessions.
• Maintain continuous and professional communication with clients, ensuring their needs are met.
Session Management:
• Assist the Musical Director in preparing for recording sessions, which may include tasks such as printing music parts and scores, organizing materials, and managing scores on the recording day.
• Maintain the Recording Register for each session.
• Coordinate the distribution of client deliverables and ensure that the Recording Register is updated through communication with the studio and videographer.
• Attend recording sessions and provide assistance as needed.
Marketing Management:
• Source potential leads using LinkedIn Sales Navigator and IMDb Pro, and initiate connections with potential clients.
• Oversee the production of a monthly newsletter sent to our contact database.
• Arrange for the creation of new articles for our website.
Financial Management:
• Prepare and send invoices and quotes to clients, working closely with the Commercial Director to ensure accurate figures.
• Maintain daily records of financial transactions in the cash book.
Requirements
The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:
• Recent graduate with a 3-year degree or diploma in Business Management from a recognized institution.
• Reside in Cape Town, South Africa
• Preference is given to candidates with an interest or understanding of orchestral music.
The Offer
• The candidate is expected to work a minimum of 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday, and attend all recording sessions.
• As part of the internship program, the candidate may be required to complete short online courses to acquire new skills relevant to the position.
• All tasks and working hours must be documented using Clockify.com and will be reviewed and approved by the Directors on a weekly basis to meet learnership requirements.
• The position is for a 6-month period, with salary payments issued one month in arrears.
• Salary will be processed through our payroll system and subject to a UIF deduction.
