Roles & Responsibilities
Strategic Function
- Support the implementation of the business unit (BU) balance score card (BSC) initiatives
Product Management
- Support the HR team in the execution of recruitment and selection processes, including drafting job descriptions, posting job vacancies, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Assist with conducting interviews and reference checks, as well as participating in the selection decision-making process
- Assist in coordinating onboarding and orientation activities for new hires, facilitating an efficient and positive experience for employees during their integration into the organization
- Support the maintenance of accurate employee records, updating employee information in HR systems, and generating reports
- Support the performance management process including the preparation of performance appraisal materials and tracking performance evaluation timelines
- Assist with employee training and development initiatives, including scheduling training sessions, organizing training materials, and tracking employee participation
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and events, helping to foster a positive and inclusive company culture
- Support employee relations efforts by addressing basic employee inquiries, escalating complex issues to HR professionals, whilst maintaining confidentiality in sensitive matters
- Stay up-to-date with HR laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance with labour laws and drive continuous improvement in HR processe
- Provide administrative support in various HR functions, such as preparing HR documents, drafting internal communications, and maintaining HR databases
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the feedback process to stakeholders by tracking all queries received, getting the relevant information and formulating appropriate responses according to the approved protocol
- Liaise with relevant key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective coordination, communication and coverage of allocated work and internal issues
People Management
- Manage own performance to drive productivity
- Participate and/or take lead in the business unit transformation/culture plans
- Provide support to the management team with regards to centre management and other people related tasks
Financial Management
- Ensure compliance with AGSA policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and procedures
- Manage supply chain processes within scope of work
Other responsibilities (Applicable to All JD’s)
Perform and/or manage other projects, tasks and assignments not stipulated on the Job description as and when required

- Basic understanding of labor laws and HR practices

- Formal Education
- Minimum qualification of Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial & Organisational Psychology, Social Science, or any related field.
