Syntech invites applications from motivated and detail-oriented individuals for the Procurement Internship Programme 2025. This internship is designed for recent graduates or entry-level job seekers looking to gain practical experience in procurement. The selected intern will work within the Procurement Department and assist with various administrative tasks that support supply chain operations and the product team.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Matric / National Senior Certificate (additional qualifications advantageous)
- Experience: 0–1 year (procurement or administrative experience preferred)
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset
Key Responsibilities
- Attend daily procurement meetings
- Conduct checks on Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs)
- Load and validate Purchase Orders (POs)
- Verify box quantities and update the system
- Support product class and file checks
- Perform price comparisons
- Liaise with vendors for missing information
- Assist in managing bulk branch orders
- Support bond release processes
- Review packaging and new product listings
- Clear procurement-related backlogs
- Handle ad hoc duties as directed by the Procurement Manager
