As the SSISA Media & Marketing Internship Programme 2025, you will play a key role in bringing our brand to life through media editing, graphic design & brand media and social media content creation. You will assist in maintaining our media library and support campaign rollouts whilst keeping our content fresh and on-trend.
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
- Degree or diploma in Media, Marketing, Design, Communications, or a related field
- Basic video and photo editing skills for creating and adapting content across multiple formats.
- Proficiency in editing and design in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) as well as content tools such as Canva and CapCut is advantageous.
- An understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Youtube) and current digital trends.
Key Performance Duties
Media Editing:
- Editing and repurposing photos and videos for multiple platforms.
- Edit photos and videos using existing footage for ads, reels, and social content
2.Graphic Design & Brand Media:
- Creating stunning visuals for social media, campaigns, and internal communications.
- Designing engaging graphics for digital and print platforms (social media, posters, presentations, internal comms).
- Developing logo and visual identity concepts for campaigns and sub-brands.
- Maintaining and organizing SSISA’s media asset library, ensuring only approved content is shared.
- Assisting with internal brand collateral (email signatures, staff photos, templates).
Social Media Content Creation
- Planning, designing, and scheduling engaging posts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Creating eye-catching visuals, reels, stories, and captions aligned with brand tone.
- Monitoring trends and suggesting fresh, creative content ideas.
- Engaging with our online community and assisting with campaign rollouts (e.g., EmpowHer, Ript, Fit4Living).
Attributes & Skills
- Excellent visual design sense, attention to detail, and ability to maintain brand consistency.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for crafting captions and engaging with online communities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
- A genuine interest in fitness, wellness, and storytelling.
