 The Wispeco Aluminium Stockist Internship Programme 2025 at Wispeco Aluminium is designed to provide graduates with hands-on experience in a stockist environment in the aluminium industry. This structured program offers a unique opportunity to rotate across branches and departments within Wispeco Aluminium’s Stockist division, ensuring maximum exposure to the operational, commercial, and logistical aspects of the business. 

In addition to practical workplace experience, interns will participate in formal training sessions, workshops, and development activities to enhance their technical knowledge, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. The program aims to build a solid foundation for future careers in operations, demand planning, supply chain management, sales, admin and stockist environments.

Program Outcomes

By the end of the internship, participants will have:

• Practical experience in stockist operations and the aluminium extrusion supply chain.

• Improved understanding of inventory, warehousing, logistics, sales and customer service.

• Enhanced technical knowledge of aluminium products and applications.

• Exposure to business processes in a leading South African extrusion manufacturer and distributor.

• Developed essential professional skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving.

• A stronger foundation for pursuing roles in sales, admin, demand planning, supervision, operations, inventory control or distribution.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• A diploma or equivalent (NQF 6) in Business Management, Entrepreneurship, Demand Planning, Warehousing, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management or related Commerce, Technical or Engineering qualification

• Graduates who have recently completed a relevant tertiary qualification, or will be completing their qualification by the end of 2025 (e.g., Logistics, Supply Chain, Entrepreneurship, Business Management, Operations Management, or Engineering).

• No or limited work experience is required.

• Excellent matric results for both mathematics and commerce / technical related subjects.

• Computer literate (MS Office, Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Prepared, willing and able to rotate and engage between different branches in SA and work irregular hours.

• Friendly energetic team player with a positive go-getter attitude and good communication and problem-solving skills.
