As a Forwarding Intern, you will support our forwarding and operations teams in coordinating international shipments, ensuring accurate documentation, and providing excellent service to our clients. Duties & Responsibilities
• Assist with the preparation of shipping documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and certificates of origin.
• Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and overseas agents to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Support the team in handling import/export processes, coordinating customs clearance, and arranging transportation.
• Help maintain accurate records of shipment data, invoicing, and payments.
• Learn about Incoterms, trade compliance, and logistics regulations.
• Provide administrative support to the forwarding team as needed.
Desired Experience & Qualification
• Recent graduate or final-year student in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience or exposure to logistics, international trade, or a related field is a plus but not required.
