Apply now for the Sopura South Africa Lab Internship Programme 2024. The Lab Intern will work under the supervision of the Quality Manager to support research and testing. This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a practical environment, learn new techniques, and gain valuable skills in laboratory operations and research methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with preparing lab equipment, samples, and reagents for experiments.
• Conduct routine lab tasks, such as measuring, recording data and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Monitor experiments and gather data under the guidance of the Quality Manager.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of research findings.
• Ensure all safety guidelines and protocols are followed within the lab.
• Assist with analyzing data and creating reports on experimental outcomes.
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of laboratory practices and procedures.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication.
