Amnesty International SA Marketing Intern 2025

 Apply for the Amnesty International SA Marketing Intern 2025. Candidate will be pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. You will have experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite), an understanding of sales strategies, customer engagement, and promotional techniques, and the ability to conduct thorough and focused desktop research, analyse trends, and present actionable insights. 

KEY FUNCTIONS:

Graphic design and marketing:

a) Create compelling marketing materials, such as course catalogues, brochures, and presentations, designed to attract a diverse audience, including corporations, groups, and individuals. 

b) Develop sales-oriented materials such as email templates, social media ads, and pitch decks targeting potential partners and clients. 

c) Contribute to the development of a sales strategy, including pricing, promotions, and client engagement.

Market research and analysis:

a) Conduct desktop research to understand corporate training needs, market demand for HRE courses, and competitive analysis.

b) Compile insights to help shape the academy’s offerings and marketing approach.

Community Engagement and Movement Building:

a) Collaborate with local youth groups and activist networks to promote the academy and its courses. 

b) Support the organisation with events, workshops, and webinars to engage potential participants and amplify the academy’s impact.

c) Ensure all materials align with Amnesty International South Africa’s brand and values. 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A demonstrated commitment to activism and human rights. 
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels, and communicate clearly and concisely with colleagues. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of additional South African languages is a plus). 
  • Collaborative, creative, and able to engage diverse groups effectively. 
  • Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and meet deadlines.
