AIA is offering employment for multiple internships in our Johannesburg offices. We are looking for candidates who are available to start immediately or as soon as possible. AIA will consider candidate applications for a paid three-month intern contract with the possibility for extension / permanent position.
The successful candidate will be asked to perform, among others, the following tasks:
• Conduct desktop research, data gathering and other analytical tasks
• Synthesise information gathered, consolidate analysis and develop recommendations
• Conduct data analysis on MS Excel
• Develop presentations on MS PowerPoint
• Write reports in MS Word
• Assist with internal organisational initiatives
• Assist senior facilitators during workshops (when necessary)
• Perform administration and logistics related tasks
In order to fulfil the above requirements, the successful candidate should display:
• Enjoys learning and is able to understand concepts quickly
• At least intermediate user skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Must be willing to travel
• Have own car and driver’s licence (preferred)
• Good interpersonal relationship skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to work effectively, both individually and in teams
• High attention to detail
• Strong numerical aptitude
• Good planning and organising skills
• Adaptable and flexible to change
Academic Qualifications
The successful candidate should hold the following as a MINIMUM:
• An NQF Level 8 Postgraduate Qualification (Honours Degree or equivalent)
Experience
• Previous experience is not required. Great opportunity into the world of management consulting!
Location: AIA is headquartered in Rosebank, Johannesburg. Note that due to the nature of consulting, travel to clients may be required.
